Lenten Challenge 2017Make a Difference During Lent

March 5 – April 10, 2017

Don’t just give up something, make a difference! The Lenten Challenge begins March 5, 2017, and runs through April 10, 2017.

The challenge is this: each week during Lent, cut back on something and bring $1.00 to church. At the end of Lent, we will divide the funds among these three places:

  • Ministry in the church: 33% will fund an OGUMC children/youth outreach event.
  • Ministry in the community: 33% will go toward a need at Oak Point Elementary or Cross Oaks Elementary.
  • Ministry in the world: 34% will go toward Missional Outreach. These funds help with ministry with the poor and our efforts to improve global health.

Thank you in advance for your participation during Lent. The more we give, the more we can help!

The Lenten Challenge begins March 5, 2017, and runs through April 10, 2017.
